Santefe Hotel

Location and staff were the best thing about the hotel. MR Muzaffer from the reception was such a kind and polite gentleman. To be honest all of them were always greeting us with a smile and welcoming us with sincerity. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from Kumkapı train staion that operates every 24 minutes to Sirkeci. And it’s 9 minutes walking to the metro line next to grand bazar @ Beyazıt . The rooms are somehow small but perfect is you are going to walk the whole day and come back just to sleep. Also very important also that there are lots of food options around plus lots of small supermarkets like Bim and şok and 101 . All are few steps away .

A nice location not far away from the tram station (although be ready to go down a hill to get to the hotel and back up to get to the station). The area is lively with many grocery stores and cafes nearby. Main sightseeing spots are within a 15 minute walk. The hotel itself is clean and it was quiet during the stay. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. Mattresses are soft and not lumpy, hot water and electricity was present all the time.

Staff : Esat and Karib were exceptionally helpful and kind, always ready to offer assistance and provide recommendations, even before our arrival. They frequently guided us on routes, transportation, restaurants, and shops. Esat arranged our return taxi with a fixed rate. Room: Just as shown in the photos, equipped with a mini fridge, towels, and a hairdryer. Hotel : There is a stunning night view from the terrace. Be sure to take a little tour. There is always someone in the reception desk (day or night), there is also an elevator and a luggage scale. Hygiene: Impeccable! Simply request room cleaning before heading out. Location: Only a short uphill walk (5-10 minutes) separates the hotel from the Bayazit Tram T1 station. The Grand Bazaar is also right next to the station, where you can find the best currency exchange offices. The shops around the hotel are affordable. There is a café next to the hotel that serves Burek, ATM machines, and restaurants all along the sidewalk at reasonable prices. A clinic is 200 meters away, just in case. A budget grocery store right behind the hotel, just 1 min walk away. The neighborhood is very secure, with no outside noise.

- The location of the hotel is excellent, it is located in the Downtown of Istanbul, very near to Marmara sea you can walk about 10 minutes and Close to Tram station, You can find all what you need, food and services very nearby You need to try the Borek from the guy beside the hotel and try Baklava from Al-Sultan on the other side of the hotel - The Staff was very charm and helpful, Once I asked for anything they help me immediately and always with a smile I'd like to thank them - The Room is clean and tidy and you can ask for cleaning room if you need - Hotel is quiet and very valuable for the money

The rooms are small but clean and equipped with everything you need. The location is wonderful—within walking distance of major sites and public transportation. There’s an amazing little bakery right outside the hotel door, perfect for enjoying the best coffee and pastries, and an excellent restaurant nearby serving delicious kebab pita wraps at great prices. Service was excellent.
